Home sales continue at a very slow pace although homes are still selling.  Loans are more difficult to qualify for.  There seem to be more conditions coming from underwriters before loans are approved.  Most of my sales and the sales in my office are with FHA loans or cash.  It's been a long time since I've seen anyone use a conventional loan. 

We're also coming into a time of year when real estate sales slow down.  The holidays will be upon us before very long and many sellers will take their homes off the market since they believe that no one is buying and they don't want to be disturbed.  But if you look at things realistically, selling your home during the holidays can work for many sellers.  Check out the new list of reasons to sell during the holidays that I just posted on my web site.  There are many great reasons to sell then, but the most important one really is if your home is not on the market, how do you hope to sell it?  It doesn't cost anything to keep the home on the market and you can minimize the inconvenience to you and your family.
